Our Inspirational Speaker: Sue Wright

Thrown into foster care at 14 and facing homelessness, Sue defied the odds. With no formal education, she became one of the UK’s top 10 highest-earning barristers in child protection, later thriving as an entrepreneur and Woman of the Year. She raised £2.3 million in 24 hours, helped extend the lives of over 100 children from a nuclear disaster, and sheltered the homeless. On December 25, 1982, she vowed to foster and adopt instead of having children, dedicating her life to giving others a home. “There’s always more room at the table.”
